The Western Caribbean...

Earlier this fall, my husband and I took a cruise to the Western Caribbean. We visited Cozumel and Mahual (Costa Maya) in Mexico, Belize and Isla Roatan in Honduras. We had an absolutely amazing time relaxing on private beaches, meeting crazy animals and touring new places. These are just a few of the more than 700 pictures I took on the trip. It was definitely photo-worthy.

 You never want to have to make use of the Coast Guard on a cruise, but it's comforting to know they're available if you need them.

A princess party...

In September, my niece, Briana, celebrated her sixth birthday with a very special guest...Cinderella. Briana and her friends were treated to a princess party, enjoying songs, stories, face painting and more with Cinderella before eating a lot of princess cake.

Cecil's second birthday...

My nephew, Cecil, celebrated his second birthday at McDonald's in August. I think his favorite present was probably his new bicycle, although I have a feeling the bag of ice pops was a close second. He's somewhat of an ice pop addict.

 

Great Danes...

I'm always on the lookout for things to shoot that I haven't done before. Working in journalism, I often find myself taking photographs of things that I wouldn't otherwise do. Even so, a dog show was a new one for me. In August, my aunt and uncle hosted a Great Dane show at their campground, also a first for them. I stopped by and snapped a few photos to see what it was all about.
