Flashback Friday: Rhen and Erin's Prom '10

I was having a hard time coming up with a topic for this week's Flashback Friday. Then it hit me that prom season is right around the corner, so what better to flashback to than a previous prom photo session. Rhen and Erin went to prom in 2010, he sporting Virginia Tech accents and she rocking a completely amazing pink zebra print dress. And three years later these former Knights turned Hokies are still going strong.

And this is what happens when the background everyone wants is in the bright sun...sorry guys!

Flashback Friday: April Beach Trip '10

Since my husband and I are at the beach this weekend, I thought it was only fitting that today's Flashback Friday feature a previous April beach trip. Today's post features photos from a trip that we took in April 2010 to the Outer Banks. We visited several lighthouses, spent some time at the beach, did a little shopping, checked out the wild ponies in Corolla and took the ferry to Ocacroke. It was a great weekend vacation.

Ron's 26th Birthday

In January, Ron celebrated his 26th birthday. His nephews and niece made him a chocolate muffin birthday cake in honor of the occasion.

Sneak Peek: T-ball

An area Little League celebrated its opening day today with a ceremony and the first game of the season. I was able to get some photos of my nephew's t-ball game--his first ever. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned for more!

Flashback Friday: Multicultural Fair '08

As a former University of Mary Washington student, one of my all-time favorite spring events on campus was the multicultural fair. And, since the fair happens tomorrow, I thought this would be the perfect subject for this week's Flashback Friday. The multicultural fair is an amazing, family-friendly community event with various cultures represented through music, food, dancing, crafts and more.
