In celebration of Halloween, my aunt and uncle held a Halloween weekend full of themed events at their campground. Children enjoyed barrel train rides and trick or treating among other events.

Football frenzy...
This fall, I had the chance to attend a middle school football game. And, in true Gracie fashion, I came to the game, camera in hand. The game was great, but I was really more impressed with the team attire. Anyone who has watched the NFL lately has noticed splashes of pink among the grime laden uniforms. The pink is in support of breast cancer research, so I was beyond excited to see that the trend had trickled down to the middle school level. What a great thing to teach a group of children as they learn the game!

Skyline Drive
Back in October, my husband and I finally made it to Skyline Drive during the peak foliage week. It was very busy, but so beautiful. There's just something about mountains, blue skies and white clouds. If you get the chance to check it out, you should. It's worth it.

Charleston...
Do you ever have that one place, somewhere you feel like you were meant to be? Charleston, SC is that place for me. It's warm, it's southern and it's amazing in every way that a place should be. I was fortunate enough to visit twice this year, once after my husband and I's Western Caribbean trip and again in December. The following are pictures from the earlier trip.
My favorite fountain in all of Charleston.
